I'm trying to understand why uninstalling a Trend Micro application on Server 2k3 caused the system to experience a TCP/IP stack corruption. The application was the Trend Micro Client/Server security agent for Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security 6.0. I attempted to uninstall it from the Add/Remove Programs and while it was uninstalling, that's when I started to experience issues. I eventually uninstalled the NICs to resolve the issue.

Looking at the event viewer for both application and system doesn't provide enough information beyond what I've written here. There was an event recorder around the same time when I started uninstalling the program. The event ID 5782 "Dynamic registration or deregistration of one or more DNS records failed with the following error:
No DNS servers configured for local system."
