I'm looking for an application that would let me monitor my Laptop's CPU, Video and HDD temperatures from the taskbar. Any ideas?

I tried NHC but it didn't display the actual temperature unless I moused over. Was hoping to have the actual temp displayed in the bar rather than some generic icon which I have to hover on.. or is there a setting I missed?

Try IK8FANGUI. Works well. right now I have it displaying Video and CPU temps on the taskbar, but not sure how well the HD temp monitoring works.

From what I understand, the application only works on Dell notebooks unfortunately.

Speed fan does everything but the gfx ie all temps cpu/mobo/hdd's if they have sensors etc plus can control fan speeds automatically etc, you can select which ones you want to show on trey icon, also motherboard monitor can too, ATI tool is good for gfx, but i preffer RivaTuner though i dont think it shows temp in task bar it does have a great graph to really see yuor temps.

You may be right Daedal. My appologies, I wasn't aware it was Dell only. I just knew it worked on mine and of course I have a Dell. :)

It does show the temperaturof one item in the taskbar (i.e., only the CPU or Hard Drive 1, but not both.) What I used to run is a combination of Motherboard Monitor and ATITool which gave me all my temperature readings right from the bar but MM wouldn't work on this laptop and ATITool is, well, for ATI cards.

I know the video card has a temperature sensor since it's displayed in the Nvidia control applet, I just want it on the taskbar along with my CPU. :(
