Task Manager and Processor CPU History Graphs

Ok, here's the thing. Usually these graphs show your processor cores as well as an extra one extra for each hyperthread. For example my desktop with the new i7 shows 8 graphs because it has 4 hyperthreaded cores. My laptop on the other hand has a hyperthreaded core 2 duo P8700. The history graph only shows 2 graphs instead of 4. Anyone know why? Hyperthreading is active, just checked BIOS. It's an Asus G71gx. Any clue would be nice. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't know how to do that in anything other than BIOS and just checked that. So I'd say I doubt it.

That's because the P8700 does not have HT.

Also, just to be clear, the P8700 is Core 2 based, and HT was dropped from all Core 2 chips, and is not supported by the Core 2 microarchitecture. the only current chips that have HT are the Atom and Nehalem lines.
