Tape Drives

So... we are looking for a new tape drive here at work. We currently use an aging DAT tape drive and are data is exceeding one tape so we can no longer backup to one tape. What would be a good $1000-$1500 tape drive that would store roughly 80 gig and would be external SCSI ?

In the past, I've used the VXA 1 from Ecrix (now Exabyte). They have the VXA 2 with increased capacity and now the VXA 320 with 160GB/320GB capacity (uncompressed/compressed). They're SCSI based drives with internal and external models.

I don't recall having many problems with the VXA 1 I had but I do know I had less problems with it than I did some 4mm DAT drives. I haven't seen what kind of reviews there are for either the VXA 2 and VXA 320 but they might be something to look at.
 
Thanks for the tips all. I plan to look over some of these reviews here shortly and see how they work out.
