i finally got my dually back up & running, but i don't think i can sleep with 2 92mm tornadoes going full bore with the 8 other case fans i have. i need to quiet things down some. I have an antec true control 550 psu that has the fan speed adjustment connected to the 4 120mm fans i have...but now i need a good ( really good ) multi-channel fan controller that will support the draw of the tornadoes...any suggestions? what's worked for you guys?

You can't really silence tornadoes...mine is at the lowest setting on my vantec NXP-201 and it's still louder than any of my other case fans and I can (although barely) hear it from the other room when doors are open. It's bearable though.

I'd recommend the Sunbeam or NXP-201

yeah, lol, i bought a sunon to replace my tornado, it was too loud for me and if i forgot to turn the dial up on the fan controlelr the thing wouldnt spin over :/

Panaflo fans are a nice middle ground between silence and a tornado :) My 92mm one on my HS puts out 56CFM @ 35db and thats the loudest in my system and at stock speeds im at 27C idle. Tornados are real overkill IMHO unless you have to have that last % OC.

I have a zalman ZM-MFC1 fan controller and it silences my tornado pretty well

plus it has blue LEDs

As a tornado owner, I'll vouch for that. The only quiet tornado is one that isn't plugged in. :p

i just got a 80mm tornado and im takin it off tomorrow lol i cant even hear people in my own room with it lol

My Rheobus fan controller works wonders. I can get it down to 1200 RPM, dead quiet and it still spits out tons of air. I turn it up half-way when doing a lot of in-windows work and all the way up in games/benchmarks. But idleing, its just as quiet as any regular case fan.

I can't imagine using a Tornado in my system. My old computer had a 60mm Delta fan and good God was that thing loud/annoying.
It was like a jet engine in my room.

you CAN make it silent i made my tornado sound the same as a regular 80mm case fan ...all i did was make a 5v mod and you cant hear it over the others....it basically makes it into a regular case fan w/ air flow and sound so its possible
