Hey, so I have been working with my phenom II X6 (soon to get fx-8300) and a noctua NH U12s, but man, even with games the temps and fans speeds get high. If I turn the fans down just a bit, temps go from pretty comfortable to hitting the heat wall. Is there any cooler I could look at that's pretty cheap and could tame these little things? Also, do you think I should swap a second exhaust fan in exchange for push-pull?

If you were in Canada I would send you a Thermalright True Spirit 140 Power. 360w cooler should tame that beast.

I have too many heatsinks, gotta get rid of some, and the recycle bin is where they will probably go.

Try looking on Facebook marketplace. I've seen NH-D15s in the $40-50 range in my area, which I think is quite reasonable.

What case do you have?
