where can i get the cable that is talked about here

sucks up a lot of enegy and power, just like my ex girlfriend. people with two 12 volt rails running at 18 amps each and are not PCI-E complient. u need to have the corect adaptor. the one u need is the Y cable that has TWO 12 volt molex conectors to the PCI-E on it( hdd power conectors). if u have the single 12 volt 4 pin to PCI-E then it wont work AS well. it will still work but your card will lack. this is because u need at least 30 amps on a SINGLE 12 volt rail. if u have TWO 12 volt rails with 18 amps on each they need to be combined to get a total of 34 amps. this is done by using the correct Y cable that has the TWO 12 volt conectors on it. my card came with the single 12 volt connector and it would not run properly cuz it was only pulling 18 amps and not 30. i swiched the adaptor out and it worked perfectly. so beware if u have TWO 12 volt rails make sure u get the right power adaptor. the x1800xt comes with it so u can go there and see what im talkin about in the pic.

i sort of need it for my x1900xt and my antec truepower 550w

I hate to break it to you but all the molexes are on the same rail. The CPU is on one rail and everything else is on the other so adding molex cables together isn't doing squat for combining the 12V1 and 12V2 rails. The reason it is helping is most likely that you're trying to draw too much amperage through a single 12V wire since the molex to PCI-e converter is powering the card through 1-12V wire and the grounds.

what did you guys do with your psu's with 2 12v's with lowre tha

n 26a im screwed?

ye i think this is corect i am not rite

it uses 2 power leads and makes them one
