Got bored and was looking around Newegg

I wish they made this for Intel based products.

Would love to see 4 Q6600's or 4 Xeon X3220's in something like this ...
Talk about some folding power in a single box.

It looks good but its won't be that an impressive folding box.
Even with 4x 854's in there, you'll only get ~5k PpD.

Get a good i5000 chipset mobo and a couple of 4 core Xenons = +6k PpD.

lol .... that was kinda the point ... like i said .. if only it was made for intel cpu's :p

The E5450's look to be a very interesting CPU.
They only cost 10% more than the X5355's but ...........
Running at 3.00 Ghz vs 2.66 Ghz and only useing 80 watts vs 120 watts.
A pair of them in a good board = ~7k PpD from ~250 watts.

Get 8 boxen like that to stay around my 2 kW/h limit = ~55K PpD.
It will only cost me ~£1,700 per blade ......... :eek:
