Sorry if this is a silly question, but i have not been able to find a answer on the web.

What will drain my tablets battery faster?

Using my tablet with bluetooth turned on, with a bluetooth mouse connected to it.

or

Using my tablet with a wireless mouse with its usb dongle plug in.

Thanks

My tablet is a Winbook Tw801 which has full size USB 3 port & Bluetooth 4.

I just picked up the same model tablet over the weekend. So far pretty impressed, except for the battery life.

Fairly certain Bluetooth would consume more. The MSFT wireless mobile mouse 3000 I use never made a dent in battery life on my laptops, and it doesn't seem to hit the WinBook.

I suspect both would be negligible, the power drain is mainly from transmitting the signal, not receiving it.

Thanks for the replies

i am loving my tablet, the only annoying thing is the keyboard taking up the whole of the screen. i hope in windows 10 i will be able to dictate with Cortana in google chrome.
