I am interested in seeing if they have a mouse touch pad that is USB/wireless that sits on top of the desk and uses finger inputs? It would be like a laptop touch pad, but a bigger scale on the surface of the desk.

I have recently been getting tired of the "typical mouse" and is interested in seeing if there is anything new out there.

Thanks

Interesting...

I like the mod into desk idea, but have no idea where/how to start with that. Pus I don't have the tools required.

I saw the electronickeyboards website when I was searching earlier, but thats not what I'm looking for, thanks though.

I think the thing that I'm kind of looking for would be comparable to the new MSFT Surface.

trying to dig through google was a pain but this is what I had seen a while back. Maybe it work for you?

Here are some other input devices that have a different form factor than your regular mouse.

There is someone online who built his own wacom tablet using an old lcd monitor for around 200-300$. The cost of the lcd with non working toplight was the hard part it seemed. You had to hunt ebay and hope for cheap prices.

I like the thought of a "joystick" type mouse, Im going to look into more of that.

And the table top touch mouse pad you found is what I'm looking for, but I was interested if there is something the size of an actual mouse pad to reduce the number of repeated moves. (Imagine trying to go from the bottom left of a screen to the top right of a large monitor/resolution with a small touch pad.)

I also like the ergo-items website with the arm support attachment for chairs. I'm surprised there is no computer chair that has a mouse area built right in that extends off the arm rest.
