I just built a new system with a Biostar T-Force 6100-939 board.
I loaded XP pro Everything is running ok but When I go to shut down the standby button is greyed out as in I can't choose it and when Windows finally shuts down it doesn't power off my Computer it gives me a message It is now safe to turn off your computer.Havn't seen that since NT.
any ideas

Check your power settings. New mobo probably gave WinXP a brain hemhorrage. When XP does that, reinstalling is the only solution I know of.
