How do you know if you have a t-bred b or just a regular t-bred?
Will vendors advertize the chip as a t-bred b, or do you have to just get lucky?

any thing would be helpful

Are you talking about Barton cores?

Bartons have 512k L2 cache and are marked as Bartons.

T-breds have 256k L2 cache and are marked as T-breds.

no where in hist post does he hint towards info about barton cores

t-bred a's were made using the .18-micron process
t-bred b's were made using the .13-micron process

usually online retailers such as zipzoomfly and newegg specify the core.

as for steppings..

AIUGA: TBredA
AIUGB: TBredB

if you post this in the strictly amd section you will probably get a lot more replies, but i believe hi tech hate is pretty much dead on

uhhh, wrong...ALL Tbreds A or B are on the .13 process...Palomino was on the older process...as far as reading the steppings that looks correct
