System won't boot

I came back to school today from 2 weeks of winter break and now my computer won't boot. When I press the power button, the system powers up but the monitor never gets a signal. The optical drive lights flash and the hard drive led stays lit. I don't get any beeps either.

I've even reset the CMOS and still... nothing. The system was working fine before I left.

Any ideas?

my college rig behaves the same once in a while but my college righ is ghey :p

anywho... investigate your hardware - start from your vid card -> memory etc.
