As the title says, my system wont boot. It gets power, but I can go into the BIOS and everything. Once I get passed the screen where I can hit delete to endter the BIOS, a all black screen comes up with a tiny smily face that comes about 1/5 of the way across the screen and stays there. I cant do anything except for ctrl + Alt + Del... The specs are as follows:

p4 2.80c Ghz - 800 FSB - HT
ASUS P4P800
Seagate 80gb 7200 rpm IDE H.D.
ATI Radeon 9800pro 128mb video
1GB Kingston pc3200 value RAM
Onboard Sound
Win2k Pro

The System did this yesterday and I thought I got a virus. So I reformatted the drive, and reinstalled windows. I had no problems, got everything download, updated, restarted about 20 times. Then I shut down my computer, took a nap, and when I woke up 3 hours later, It started doing the same damn thing... Anyone have any ideas on what it could be, or past experiences that were simliar? Thanks much!!

I've seen it when ntloader (ntldr) has gotten corrupted before. Try running some hard disk diagnostics.
