I just installed a chaitech 7nil1 . And the volume is set to max on everything, the jack is plugged in fully and i have all the drivers. But i only can hear barly anything. any suggestions. and the speakers dont have a control on them. im not that dumb :p
 
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but you may be in true line out mode.
 
Move the jumper on the card.
The settings are printed on the card.
