Well, I have an AMD 1004mHz processor. Not a very good one. But I'm a freak and figured that because my PC stays on 24/7 that I needed to cool the hell out of it to prevent an overheat or heat damage. 12 fans later, I finally got SpeedFan 4.27. To my suprise, the processor runs steady at 41*C and reaches about 46*C under load. I was shocked at how low these were compared to other temps I have seen on different processors. I know it is an old, underpowered processor, but I have seen people with water cooling running at at least 55*C. Also, my hard drives run at a steady 28*C.

So I have a few questions. Am I crazy to cool this thing so much?
Also, post your specs, processor type, OC speed, and your temps for processor and hard drives and whatever else you want.

Don't worry about it. Here is my suggestion, get rid of 10 fans, buy two or three cans of compressed air, use at least one can cleaning out all the dust from your case etc... You willl have lower temps. Oh and PM me if you are interested in my 466Mhz Clamshell iBook SE.
