Well actually it only rebooted one time.
I'm ocing my AMD Sempron 2600+ socket A @ 1.83ghz, to 2.1ghz.
I only overclock it when I'm gaming, so I use nTune and I raise the 333mhz FBS to 383. The memory is synchronized so the memeory bus goes to 383 as well (or at least nTune just let me raise fbs algonwith the memory bus.)
By the way, I have 1Gb of Kingston Ram.
My motherboard is an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe and my video card is an Asus 9600XT.
To oc the graphic card I use AtiTool, the default clock speeds are 500/600 and I raise them to 550/660.
I gain around 10fps that way.
Last night I played Doom 3 (Medium Quality) for an hour and Counter Strike: Source (High Quality) with 11 bots for 4 hours, I think, and suddenly the computer rebooted, adn then I decided to log on to linux. Everything was going fine, but whne the login screen was going to appear, the monitor shown corrupted video and I had to reboot again, after that, everything is working fine.
I have being OC for a month, and this is the first time it happens, and I'm afraid something get burned. By the way, the temperatures were quite low. CPU: 40c; Motherborad: 20c; GPU Memory: 40c and GPU Core: 35c.
However when im gaming with or without OC, the motherboard speech reporter advises me: "System has failed CPU test", then noticed that voltages are a little bit under the average, and I know I have a crappy 350w PSU.
Is that the reason for the unexpected reboot, yesterday?
Could that be the reason for the "System has failed cpu test?
