what is the difference in these two?

ONE

TWO

only difference i can see is one says 8T and the other says 16T. also, the 16T is 2.5v and the 8T is 2.6v. what would be the significance of this? thanks in advance! :D

Damn, I am not sure. It look's as if the 16t is darker, therefore maybe thicker PCB? Other then the Voltage you are correct, the other spec's are all the same..

hmm that's weird. but i'd go with the 16T version - it has 25 reviews. atleast you know it's been around for a while and works. The 8T version is....strange because it offers no benefits (on paper that we can see anyway) yet wants more power  .

could it have something to do with dual channel? hence the 8 and 16?

No.

Memory itself is not Dual or Single Channel, that is part of the Motherboard Setup.

hmmm... i dunno then. :(

I would do what was said above and go with the 16t since it has 25 reviews and the 8t has none, just to be safe :)
