I was on a computer at school today (windows 2000) and noticed that System Idle Process noted how long the computer had been on (841 hrs.) When I looked on my computer for it, System idle process didn't list the up time of my computer. How can I see my up time using system idle process? I remember seeing a thread about this a while ago, but couldn't find it, and I tried google, but didn't know how to phrase my search. Thanks.

In task manager, in the processes tab:

Go to view - Select Columns, put a check in the "CPU Time" box and hit "Ok". Theres lots of other stuff in here as you can see too ;).

The system idle process does NOT show system uptime. It just shows how much cpu time the system idle process has used since the computer has been on. It is so high on a school computer because it is probably idling most of the time it is on(and even when users are using it since regular usage rarely demands 100% cpu utilization).
