System crashes using flash 8

I am about to toss this thing out the window! Hopefully someone here might have a better solution to my problem because I am at a loss.

Whenever I open a flash based program my system will run fine for about 5 minns and then all of a sudden the screen will shut off and my monitor light goes from green to yellow. I have to power dump it to reboot.
I have installed the latest VIA driver for my motherboard (Soltek SL-K8TPro-939) and my video card (9800 Pro).
Anyone have any idea what may be the problem?
