Ok, I downloaded the ISO for SSE 2010, and the damned thing is too big to burn to a DVD5. I doubt seriously MS expects people to have Dual-Layer discs handy.

Is this intended not to be burned, but installed from the desktop instead? I can open the ISO just fine with WinZip.

And what MSI or EXE would I run? It has quite a collection available :)

You can easily mount .iso's with virtual DVD drive software or it can be mounted as a drive for a virtual server using VMWare/Hyper-V, etc. As Corporate IT moves further down the path of vurtualization, I think we'll start to see more and more 5GB+ disc images, released under the assumption that they'll be mounted, rather than burned.

Go look for MagicISO or Daemon tools to mount that ISO.

Instead of dealing with mounting ISOs, I usually just use 7-Zip to extract the contents of an image file. WinZip should also be able to do this.
