Hi all -

Just looking for some recommendations for syslog servers. Open-source or paid is fine. Price isn't an issue as far as I know.

I normally go with Kiwi syslog, but that is just due to lack of willing to find a different one lol
 
My recommendation differs based on what you are attempting to achieve. If you just want a place to centralize them, then Kiwi syslog works fine. If you are wanting to do reporting on what is in the syslogs and want to trend information off of that or do future planning based off those logs, then Splunk.

At this point, we just want a place to centralize all the logs and a place to be able to view them.

I suppose down the road we may want reporting and trending capabilities....

I've checked out Kiwi prior to posting this; and I've never heard of Splunk. I guess it's time to check out Splunk!
