Syntax 26in lt-26hvx 8800 issue

I dont know if anyone else is having this problem but in november i bought a 8800 gts to replace my 7800gt sli setup.... now i have a problem..... i cannot use dvi or when i get into windows i get a no signal on the tv.... the vga works but i want to use DVI. i tried the nv refresh rate tool but it doesnt keep settings and i'd have to boot into vga mode for it to work and most of the time when i change res in that mode i get it again..... any fixes for this i've run every driver rev i can find.
