Synery issue with the lock screen

I've got two PC's running Synergy, so I don't need two keyboards and two mice, but I'm having an odd issue with the lock screen on my server PC. When my server PC goes to the lock screen, my mouse and keyboard get locked to the client's screen, clicking does nothing, and there is no way to get back to my server's screen to log back in. The only way to fix this is to disconnect the client PC, then everything pops back to my server's screen, and I can log back in.

Is there a way to fix this?
