I just got this moniter today, and I am having a slight problem: the very top of the screen (about the size of a Win2k titlebar when maximized) is wierdly distorted; the area in question looks like it's been slanted to the right. The wierd thing is that this only happens in windows, as far as I can tell. All of my games look perfect.
I can live with it, since it doesn't affect my games, but should I RMA it just to be safe, or is there some kind of driver/software/video card issue. Or is there a soultion?
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

I have the same monitor as you and I don't have that problem. I also do not remember this issue being brought up in too many consumer reviews (although I believe that I do recollect one review where the consumer noted distortion at the edge of the screen; but it was at the bottom where the task bar is).

Therefore, I think that it's safe to assume that this is not a common problem, hence, RMA'ing it might not be a bad idea if it's giving you trouble.

I bought this monitor 2 days ago, and I have the exact same problem - slants to the right, which no amount of tweaking will suffice. It will be returned.

Just returned that monitor toady. had too much moire effect, halo effect when whites resolved into black, and grainyness around the edges. i didn't have any geometry problems though.

I have owned both and still do the 930sb. The moniotrs arent even comparable. The 930sb is just so much better

Update: Okay, now I'm freaked out. I just got the new machine this monitor was supposed to be a part of, and, just out of curiosity, I hooked it up. No problems, whatsoever. Everything looks totally perfect. My only guess is that it was some sort of driver/software bug. (My old card was a radeon 9600 Pro, my new one is a 6600GT, wonder if thats the difference.)
