trying to sync two dell monitors (2407 A03 and 2007 A04). the 24" looks fantastic, but the 20" is considerably darker with a blue hue. I've tried changing the brightness and contrast settings on the 20" but it doesn't some even close.

How do I calibrate the colors? I'm not an art guy who needs true color calibration, I just want the monitors to be similar.

Any suggestions?

a color calibration device could do the job... or simply, it's not the same panel and you wont get the same quality

You're going to have a difficult time getting an S-PVA and S-IPS to match up exactly.....a colorimeter such as the Spyder2 would help a lot though.

I'm assuming that the 2407 is the PVA? (sorry, newbie here). But actually, in my opinion, the 2407 looks much better...

the 20" looks more like a grid upclose...and it's evident when reading normal webpages and the like.
