Syncing 4870x2 with Rivatune question

Anyone have knowledge of where in the settings to sync the GPU's & memo
of a 4870x2 using Rivatune? I got half of this card to OC but there's something
you have to set to sync both. Thanks!
 
the low level area only does it to 1 core? are you sure? (does the riva graph show 1 core at your OC setting & the other one at stock when launching a 3d app?)

what about CCC's overdrive

Riva reports one OC in their graph.

CCC doesn't display them individually.

just OC with CCC, edit the profile.xml to control each GPU independently. Use RT if you want voltage control.
 
Well then...explain.This selector controls both GPU's
of my 4870x2. There are no separate controls unless
I'm blind. Besides, you don't use this anyway when using
Rivatune. Please advise.

Are you on XP or Vista? You can't oc both gpus in XP it is not and never will be supported. To do it in Vista you have to go to the "power users" tab. One of the overclocking menus will have something about mirroring the overclock. Though, since 2.24 is the most current RT and came about about the end of last year I'm not even sure that you can do it with any current drivers as RT needs to be updated to take full advantage of them.

In CCC, the tab that lists your 4870x2 and monitor is a drop down menu and you can select the other gpu that way. Been like that since the 4870x2 came out.
 
My sig says it all. FYI, YOU DO NOT OC WITH CCC ONCE YOU HAVE RIVATUNE.

My older version of RIVATUNE had a tab that activated both GPU's. All I'm asking
is if someone knows where that tab is in the newest release of Rivatune. Thats all.
NO CCC answers please. Thanks.

Check out the sixth link. If that doesn't work then it is because Rivatuner doesn't support the driver version your using.
