I'm surprised to see no SWTOR threads...anyone have any tips on graphic tweaks?

Here are my client_settings.ini found in Users\<user>\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings

[Renderer]
D3DFullScreen = true
Height = 1080
NativeHeight = 1080
NativeWidth = 1920
AntiAliasingLevel = 4
TextureAnisotropy = 16
FarClipScale = 1.01
Width = 1920
WindowX = 0
WindowY = 0
GammaRamp = 0.64471
FullScreen = true
PlantDensity = 19
EnableBloom = true
doShadows = false
VerticalSyncState = true
doBlobShadows = true
SpeedTreeDistanceScale = 0.75

I'm running 2 GTX 460 768MB in SLI on 290.53 beta drivers. SLI rendering mode is set to "Force alternate frame rendering 2". The profile is listed as "WRC 2 Fia World Rally 2011" with the SWTOR icon. I feel like I should be getting higher framerates in cities and outdoor zones as I drop down noticeably below 30 with settings on High.

That thread is extremely long, and in the time I spent skimming it I saw nothing about graphics tweaks. Like yixi, I'd be very interested in seeing a concise list of options/tweaks, if it exists.

Remember to check and set your cpu priority's to normal or high.

Also if this is anything like wow, CPU and Ram are gonna be the culprits of quite a few of those fps dips. That and just standard network game code (wow at the beginning had terribly inefficient networking code, where if you got a debuff it would make you send a notice to all of the other 39raiders and also one to the server, making for fun times on Chromaggus and later on Thadeus).

idk I have not seen the need for a real video card for this game yet, to me it's just a mediocre graphical game.

I think they're coming out with a fix for the frame drops in doors. That is not cpu or ram related, but a problem with the source code. My GTX480 sli system on a 1080P LCD TV is having problems at times too. I monitor my gpu usage and it's all the way down to 30% on both gpu's and my CPU isn't scaling up either. 8 Gigs of 1600 ram is barely used as well. That means it's software related.

I am kind of underwhelmed by the game myself. Was expecting a departure from the "wow" norm. Instead got wow star wars. The game suffers the same problems that wow did early on. Must have some of the same developers, repeating the same problems and game play. Go figure.

Well the thing with wow is the same thing as "the simpsons did it!", wow has been around for quite a long time so it will be hard to make something feel entirely new and different from it, as chances are they tried it already.

BTW from that gamespot thread, it seems that nvidia has driver issues that they are ironing out atm, AA, vsync and shadows among other stuff.
Ohh and SLI isnt working all that nicely... just gotta wait a bit for this to be ironed out methinks.

I really can't think of any gameplay that has felt particularly "fresh" to me in quite a while, not sure what else they can do with a keyboard and mouse that hasn't been done yet. It is perhaps a little too similar to WoW though I have to admit.

I couldn't get AA to work on my pair of 6870's, the game just crashes although I could force MLAA and that seemed to work alright.

For myself it's not about the keystrokes. I was looking forward to something different in the game itself. SWTOR reminds me of a pig with lipstick on, it's still a pig.
