Anyway, I recently purchased an A-64 Mobo/Cpu. I was running a Zalman 7000b HSF on my old set up. However, I lost the instructions for it. I know I am supposed to install the backplate etc. But my MSI Neo-2 Plat already has a backplate on it. Am I supposed to remove this and put on the Zalman set-up? Thanks alot.

Is the back-plate pretty much not identical anyways? I know with my Arctic Cool Freezer64 it came with a backplate just incase you have a cheapo-bandito motherboard that does not have a mounting bracket - but it was identical in design/size/shape to the one already on my DFI motherboard.

My friend has the same exact Mobo..The back plate doesnt come off. you mount it onto teh bracket....For him the backplate was fine and a quick note, the backplate on the mobo doesnt come off.
