I see nothing wrong with his post since those machines are setup for very specific use cases.

Because it's not unquestionable. There have been studies between different keyboard layouts and there hasn't been any scientific evidence that any improvements have been anything more than marginal.

Oh there is nothing wrong with it, but it completely misses the point of the article which is geared towards individuals at home. I don't know many individuals at home that are buying supercomputers...
You don't need particularly great software to run calculations all day..its the hardware that counts.
