Because it's not unquestionable. There have been studies between different keyboard layouts and there hasn't been any scientific evidence that any improvements have been anything more than marginal.
 
I see nothing wrong with his post since those machines are setup for very specific use cases. :)

Oh there is nothing wrong with it, but it completely misses the point of the article which is geared towards individuals at home. I don't know many individuals at home that are buying supercomputers...
