switch connection profile based on wireless network name? (for proxy server)

my school has a full wireless campus, but they use a proxy server that i have to toggle on while there, and off when i get home. is there a way to have this automatically set based on network name? i don't know if you can do wireless connection specific network profiles. i've found 3rd party software that will let me select a profile, but not have it done automatically based on network name. thanks

A proxy setting will be something that your internet browser deals with or internet applications. Your network settings don't really have anything to do with going through a proxy server. Unless I am just misunderstanding what your asking about.

yes, i guess you're right. i really mean the internet explorer settings that contain proxy info
