Hi all. I have my kit filled and running on the work bench... but i'm hearing alot of popping bubbles and turbulence in the reservoir. I have juggled the system around when i was filling and initially priming the system and am confident that all the air is out of the lines / block / rad.

Question is.... is this normal? or did I fill it up too high? Thanks for your help.

1. Did you have the resorvoir cap off when you moved all that air into the reservoir? All that air has to escape the res, and not just get stuck there. Take the cap off and tilt the res so the hole is high up to let it escape.

2. Sometimes when not full that will happen. Also when testing make sure the res is at the angle it would be at when in the case. If its tilted the wrong angle sometimes it will gurgle and bubble because the inlet is spraying in an area of the res it normally doesnt. I can see from the pic you have the res at a weird angle, that alone can do it sometimes.

I hope #2 makes sense, it does when you are looking at it running.
 
yes , I had the cap off when i was moving it around. It was alittle tricky not making a mess... but that's how I did it. I filled and tilted the res till the levels were roughly at the res and pump, then twisted and turned the rad and block around etc etc to let the air escape into the res, then filled more.

also it basically does that in any angle i put the res / pump assembly that doesn't let the pump run dry, including on its side with the pump down like it showed on swifty's website.

If what you're saying is that I should try to tilt it the right way and fill it to max capacity then I will do so, maybe that's what I wasn't understanding. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks!
