I'm trying to install the QC fittings on the 120 rad and the damn tubes will not go any farther. The plastic inserts are to be flush, but there still sticking out 1/8" and they just wont go any farther. I'm wrecking my hands trying to get those mothers all the way in. Any ideas on getting them in all the way? Thanks

hers a pic. Hope this works.

lol, i had the same problem as you when i got my first swiftech kit, take those plastic inserts out of the tube, it's what is causing your problem. I did that and it fixed everything.

the above is incorrect and will result in leaking connections
the inserts are to keep the tube round and provide enough stiffness to seal the o-ring

-> lubricate the end with soap, insert with twisting motion
read the instructions ?

I put a ton of soap on and tried twisting it back and forth and turning it pushing and those suckas anit moving any farther in. And taking the inserts out wont that cause them to leak?

.....yeah....and yet i haven't had any leaks in the past two years doing it my way...oh well, takes all kinds

the kuri brand tubes that swiftech uses doesn't need inserts. It's more for r-1000 tygon tubing, extremely soft tubing... I say any tubing with with a durometer rating of a Shore A: 70 or higher does not need the assitance of tube inserts
