Hi all,

I am planning to use a swiftech watercooling kit (8600 or 22600, any suggestion?) but I want to add to the installation and the Swiftech peltier, the MCW5002-PT™ LIQUID COOLED THERMOELECTRIC ASSEMBLY FOR INTEL® PENTIUM® 4 PROCESSORS (sorry for the Caps, copy-paste from site) .

Anyone tried it?
Anything I need to know?

thx

Try looking in the forums at xtremesystems.org, they have a dedicated TEC/Peltier forum with lots of knowledgable people.

You will need a seperate 12v powersupply to power the peltier (you can get a meanwell unit from swiftech) and it's a tough job insulating the socket correctly, but the swiftech pelt blocks are one of the simpler ways to get into TEC cooling.

You'll want to get the 22600 kit if you're using a pelt, as the extra radiator size is key for dissipating the huge amounts of heat let off by the pelt.

Lets us know how it goes, im quite interested and would go with a swiffy tec if I ever dare try pelt cooling. (I can tell already that condensation proofing my future lga775 cpu will be quite a challenge)
