Swiftech MCW60 fitting compatibility question

i believe so. they should both be standard G1/4 threads.

Thanks for the reply. My main concern is not the thread size, as I knew they were both G1/4, but the spacing between the fittings, as well as between the fittings and the board.
 
I may be wrong, but I believe they can take 3/8x1/2, but not 1/2x3/4. Anybody wanna clarify?

7/16" ID 5/8" OD is a no go. They'll fit side by side, but come in contact with the face of the block. Perhaps with some sort of extender...

I've come up with a solution. I used two BP dual rotary 90 degree adapters to extend the fittings to the end of the board. They line up almost perfectly with the end of the PCB, and when combined with a 90 degree rotary adapter, eliminate the need for ridiculous bend radii. Since I'm running these in SLi, this is perfect.

I'll post pics when I get hold of a camera.

please share, I am about to WC for the first time and the SLI part is still bugging me because of the small space and the bend needed. Do you know exactly what BP fitting it is? (I mean can you link to it?)

Did you put on each card and then what? Sorry being stupid....

You're not being stupid. I have trouble visualizing these kinds of descriptions as well, which is why I planned to post pictures.

the just attached the bards to the end of them?

Sorry I have trouble visualizing stuff. So you put the rotary adaptor directly on the water block then what went in between to connect the two video cards together?

Actually I should ask first, are your video cards in slots right next to each other or spaced apart?

Oh, I should ask, what video card ar eyou using and are you using any other heatsink device on the card?

Awesome, I think you helped solve one of my major fears which was the video to video connection plus some other areas of trouble. I was originally looking at some right angled peices until someone suggested not using them because of flow problems, but I think in my tight case, the possible loss of flow from those angle is better than having possble kinks in the tubing.

back to the drawing board a bit for me. Hopefully you get some pics :)

I shall order some stuff tonite and then wait the eternity to get it all.... I haven't done this much PC modding in years.
