I just got my Swiftech MCP655 pump for my first water loop. I says right on the pump "Max fluid temp: 140F (60C)". I am fully expecting fluid temps higher than 60C to come off my CPU. Is this a problem? Should I set up my loop: Pump->CPU->Rad->Reservoir->Pump? I was thinking it should be: Pump->Rad->CPU->Reservoir->Pump.

Are you thinking Core temps are close to fluid temps? That is not the case... When I run radiator tests I am applying 600w at 600RPM fan speeds and don't typically reach 60C fluid temps.

As an example:

Oh, wow. Yes I was assuming that if my core temps were 75C then the water coming off my CPU would be 75C. Thank you.

Naw.... nothing to worry about, i usually go Pump>CPU>Rad>Res, doesn't really matter that much, but i always make sure i put the res before the pump so it always has the maximum amount of liquid sitting there to suck in.
