once i've finish rebuilding my case;
http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1621835
i'll be throwing my 655 back in but it got me thinking, is it going to be enough. the old rig (still in sig) was running 1 MCR320 and 3 blocks (1 Swiftech GTX, 2 MCW30's chipset blocks).

the new loop will have 3 rads (2x MCR220 QP's and 1 Magicool Pro Slim Profile 2X120mm) one CPU block and possibly a GPU block when the next gen cards are out (not worth it to buy an expensive block for my current 5850). also removing most of the nozzles and clamps and using BP compression fittings, 1 QDC (koolance VL4's) and 1 'T' section for bleeding.
is the 655 going have enough grunt to push water thru the new loop. asking b/c about to place my final order thru with PPC's and i'm hoping to not need anything else due to the cost to shipping to australia.

on a side note, anyone know if there are any coupons going at Performance PCs, be nice to defray the cost of the expensive shipping?

facebook is one i think

But If you worried get the 24V mod one just have to buy a convertor thing with it. That would be the most powerful pump there is...

Loop length doesn't really matter unless you're trying to make the pump push too high (usually about 10 feet above the pump). The type and number of blocks and radiators you use matter more, as they add restriction to the loop and decrease flow more than loop length does.

That said, I think a single 655 pump is enough. Swiftech and Magicool radiators are not that restrictive, and the swiftech blocks aren't that restrictive either. Most fullcover GPU blocks are also not very restrictive.

I run both pumps now just because I can. I like the MCP35X for pushing GPU loops due to the higher head pressure. I like the MCP655 for CPU cooling due to the higher flow rate. But the 655 and 35x can both push atleast 3 GPUs and 1 CPU and 2 Rads easy.

thanks for the info guys.
might look at the 24V version if i go a bit mad with WC'ing but if the stock 655 is sufficient, think i'll stick with that.

yeah the 'facebook' code is for jab-tech if i remember correctly (tho i did try it anyway). if i could use jab-tech i would but they just don't have the parts i need. their shipping also tends to be more reasonable. the shipping for my current basket @ PPCs is going to set me back $80-$100 USD. ouch.
