Swiftech iTube9 & MCW50

I am trying to figure out if I connected my tubes properly into the swiftech MCW50. Like it snaped in and its pretty hard to get them out now but the fittings that hold the tube in the block can slightly move back and forth like 1 to 2 mm.

I'll try to get a pic of what I am talking about (my cam battery is dead needs charging) :)

You want them like your second picture of each set. When the tubing is inserted completely and gently pulled back, that is the maximum hold for a push to fit. Remember you have to compress the fitting like your first picture to get the tubing to release......
 
No I just wanted to make sure it was normal that the fitting is coming out like that. I want to know if that ring should or should not be coming out like that, like I can't pull the tube easily but that ring can easily move up/down as shown on the pix.
 
I had a MCW55, and it came with a pair of red plastic clips to hold the tubes in the "gently pulled out" position. So, yes, it's fine. And when the time comes that you want to take the tubes out of those fittings.... my condolences.
 
Ya I already know how hard it is to remove them :)

This is my second tubing, I just replaced the old tubing I had for 2 years. By the way, how long should a regular tubing last?
