I am starting over from scratch and throwing out my old broken particle board $59.00 computer desk and replacing it with something uber cool.

I know some of you in the forums have some sick dark glass computer desks and I would like to know where you bought them and if you are happy with them. (likes and dislikes)

Any help is appreciated.

Used to have a glass desk, and it was a pain in the ass. Distracting to be able to see through it. Paranoid about scratching/cracking it. Heavy as hell. Hard to move (due to weight and care you have to take with glass).

I switched to an aluminum desk and am very happy.

i like the look of frosted glass, and you cant see through it.. i also would be annoyed of being able to see through my desk..

My biggest gripe with glass desks is fingerprints. It's virtually impossible to keep a glass desk clear of them. This might be less of an issue with dark glass, though.

I have a combo tinted glass and wood desk. To be fair, it isn't that great. The glass is always dirty and you have to be careful with it. The whole thing weighs a ton. It is a two man job to move it a round.
