i cant really understnd my eveyone seems to love this mouse so much...i have a older intellimouse optical with the buttons on both sides and ive never had a problem with it/any complaints. I have a bluetooth optical explorer too and now im selling it...i just dont get it ? comments?

btw its for sale here

i may be nieve but i really dont spend large ammounts of cash on say a 50$ mx keyboard, the most expensive keyboard iv ever bought was 20$ i guess its just personal preference tho

i think of it this way: the mouse is something that im going to be touching all the time when im on my computer so i'd better be getting one that i like! same with the monitor, i dont want some el cheapo monitor b/c im going to be LOOKING at it all the time when im on my computer

maybe u guys think differently but i think that the things i interact with daily need to fit my personal preferences

but ther are plenty of other mice on the planet...it just seem like peeps ar hung up on this mouse...im mean if it sucked my di*k and made me a cheese sandwich it would be cool, otherwise...meh

>.< I dont know, i just happen to prefer this mouse to most of the others that ive tried.

Its comfortable, matches my system well (black/silver), looks nice, doesnt need new batteries very often (unlike most cordless unrechargeable opticals) and really isnt priced that badly if you compare it to other cordless opticals. I paid 65.00 shipped for my MX duo keyboard/mx700 combo, and im entirely satisfied with it, not to mention logitech has a 5 year warranty on it.

All the microsoft mice ive bought crapped out on me rather quickly, i cant stand any of the cheap generic mice ive found, and from what ive seen, the "gamer" mice (razor's and the like) are all too specific to just gaming and arent really any better than the MX700 is.

:) To put it in perspective, why does everybody go gaga over 100+ dollar cases for their systems when a 30.00 case with a good power supply would achieve the same effect for 1/2 to 1/3 of the price.

agreed that some of the ":gaming" ice are too action specific but on the note of the case...it think that mostly has to do with asthetics rather and funconality...i xperienced this myself owning a coolermaster 710 that looks amazing but has no front mic/usb/firwire and that kinda suck s

=\ The thing is, i happen to LIKE the asthetics of the MX700 ;) it feels high dollar (actually it kind of is high dollar for a mouse =x )

Case issue. I have a windowed black generic case that i think does exactly what i want it to do. front usb ports and sound headers, plenty of expansion area, room for anything i could possibly want to put in it. Whats the point of paying 100's of dollars for a case? i can understand a prommie, but those 200+ dollar cases dont really do anything more than the cheap ones.

At least with the MX700 when your spending more than the cheaper mice, your getting more features out of it (if nothing else but the rechargeability)

I agree. Its a very comfortable mouse, and it just seems to work faster than the other cheap mice ive used. Its worth having, ,plus its high quality.

buy an MX Duo. spend 75 bucks, get a wireless keyboard that feels good and has plenty of buttons (if you like that; I personally use them to launch my videogames!), and a wireless mouse that feels good, is accurate enough to play games with, and isn't some ugly beige.

the mouse has been around for almost 18 months. it's proven itself frag-worthy, and [H]-worthy.

Yeah, but the mouse isn't going to give you a disease and poison your cheese sandwich. Not to mention, it would be around a lot longer than the chick you gave the $50 to. :D

what about the mx500 the corded one id buy that one just cause i don't trust cordless.
