Swapping Q-Pack windows w/mesh

Hello all, I have a black Q pack and I was interested in seeing if I could trade my non windowed cover for someones windowed cover. I'd like replace the windows with mesh for better ventilation/first mod. The temps on my Opty 144 @ 2.7ghz are 28-30 prime 95 load is 45 this is at 1.40 volts. I know there would be the issue of dust, but I dont mind cleaning. I was curious if anyone has done it and what the results were. Also, pm me if you'd be interested in trading :)
 
Someone did something like this in Case Worklogs. I think it was called Shuttle Cool Down or something like that...
 
I was thinking about the same thing but I fugured I'd be sacrificing noise for about 2 degrees or cooler temps. Is your case that much cooler with the top off? I'm geussing that would be a close apporximation to what your temps would be with the screens in place.
