I have a Norco SAS 20 bay, using X48 mobo still running Vista 64 with a Highpoint 4320 card linked to an HP expander.
I want to switch over to a spare X58 motherboard, 920 CPU, and then stick Win7 64 on it.
I am guessing I can just close down the Array in the GUI, shut down the PC, then get back to all the regular hardware install stuff?
After OS install, then put the RAID and expander back in, lastly hook up the drives?
Or install the RAID and Expander with drives hooked up already?
I am just hoping to avoid some headaches, but I know they may yet present themselves...
