Swapping Mobos and moving array

I'm currently running on a Gigabyte GA-7NNXP, and have a RAID Stripe set up on the onboard ITE 8212 controller, and I will be going to an Asus K8V. My question is can I move my array to the new motherboard's Promise controller without losing all my data?
 
maybe, depends if the ITE and the promise use the same away to 'mark' the drives for raid etc.

Unlikely I'd say.
