Swapping Asus P8Z68-V for P8Z68-V/Gen3

I'm swapping out my Asus P8Z68-V for the P8Z68-V/Gen3 (long story) and was wondering if I can just plug my existing boot SSD into the new mobo and everything will work fine. From what I can tell all the drivers are the same and the only difference between the two is the BIOS. Can anyone confirm?

Yeah it'll work fine.

You should be fine... I would check and update drivers to be sure since it never hurts to have the latest drivers.
