Swap Harddrive?

I formatted a hardrive to ntfs and put windows xp on it in a computer, will the hard drive work in another computer if i swap it? Will everything work ok on the the computer even though i installed windows xp on a different computer.
 
Probably not. You can get problems when you change from one computer to another if they use a different motherboard, however some people have done it just fine... It's always best to reinstall, but you might be able to get by with it, or you might just be able to do a "repair" reinstall of XP.

Your mileage will vary, but good luck. :)
 
Not likely.

Win98 would've been okay with it, but WinXP absolutely hates drastic hardware changes like that. You'll most likely just get a bluescreen.
