Hi, just wondering if anyone has had any success getting warrenty assistance with Swan speakers here in the USA?

I bought a set of Swan M10s from www.theaudioinsider.com on 7/26/09.

In the last few days I've noticed that the right speaker seems to be cutting out completely. I have to remove the RCA wire from the main speaker/sub/amp and reinstall it. Then it's fine for a short period and eventually cuts out again.

Also, the same speaker doesn't like low volume. Below a certain level all I hear is cracking from that speaker. The other is fine. I tried another set of speakers in my PC and then work flawlessly.

I love the Swan M10s and their sound but if the quality is bad....:(

I just emailed the contact at The Audio Insider and Swan/Hivi USA but the fact that neither of their pages have warrenty details (other than that they are covered for 3 years).....not a good sign!

Well you are still within the 30day trial period, so you shouldn't have a problem exchanging them or even returning them...

Hey shawnoen, I also bought a pair of Swans M10 and was having an issue with them. I contacted Jon at the Audioinsider and he told me would he replace the speakers under the warranty for up to 1 year from the purchase date. I sent the speakers back to him (unfortunately I had to pay shipping) and he sent me a new pair within about 2 weeks. Unfortunately this set was completely DOA (would not power on) and was lacking an RCA to minijack cable and Jon replaced them again but this time he paid shipping and I got the second new pair in about a week (I'm in Mass.). The pair I got now sounds very good but I'm also a little unsure of the long-term reliability of speakers. Hope that helps.
Dave
