I'm probably going to order these in the next few hours with a subwoofer. I'm trying to decide where to place the sub, and I'm also trying to determine if the 1080's placement is a problem. I decided a picture is worth the words in this case.

I was thinking about putting the swans on both sides of my 24" monitor and moving the 15" behind the 24" and put it on a stand. I wasn't sure where to place the sub, but I thought next to my desk on the left (where the tissue box is) and make the front of the sub line up with my desk would work.

I've read in the past that speakers should be between 5'-6' away from each other, but mine will only be 2 feet. Is that going to cause any problems?

edit: I'm still debating the dayton 12" 150 watt or dayton 10" 125 watt.

what you could do is move your desk to the center of the wall instead of meeting at the corner then buy some cheap(but good) speaker stands so you dont have to have to place them on your desk.

btw what is the other monitor used for?
unless u really need that monitor get rid of it or put it somewhere else

I'm moving my 15" behind me 24" and building a stand for it. Moving my desk isn't a bad idea. I'll see how I like the speaker position before I move my desk and buy stands though.
