Just got mine and wow they sound clear! Will burn them in for a few hours and see if they set in...
I had issues with the audioinsider as my first pair did not power up. I called Jon and he was very helpful. However, because of the sale price he could not cover the 40$ it would cost to ship back for replacement.
Good thing I live in So Cal and the Hi Vi distributor is 15minutes away from me. I got my replacement today after lagging for a few days after calling Jon.
Great service and so far great product.
I have this running through a Xfi Xtreme Music in Entertainment mode; 60% crystalizer
First Impressions:
The high hats can CLEARLY be heard now!
Electronica is CRYSTAL CLEAR.
Bass is not the cleanest, but very good for just desktop speakers. For the really deep tones and rumble that I like, I think a small 8" would compliment this set nicely.
I like to feel a little rumble around the legs personally.
Let's see how some Daft Punk sounds now...
Aerodynamic sounds sharp off the bat. I can notice new sounds in the background that I've never noticed enough before.
Again, just a rich clear stream of sound coming from the tweets. Electronic is very clean.
