Can someone please give me some advice on whether this custom case is worth buying? I already have a Koolance Exos. I liked how simple the Exos was to install and the temp display but I don't think it can handle my overclocked 3800x2 and a 8800GTX. I plan to get a new water cooling setup to cool my CPU and use the EXOS just for the videocard. The problem that I have is my wavemaster case which seems to be too small for most water cooling kits. Also, the wavemaster only has attachments for a 80mm fan on the back which is too small to attach most radiators. I don't have the time to do a lot of modding myself so I just want to get something simple. The SVC custom looks pretty good but I have some concerns about the radiator being inside of the case. Please let me know what you think. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

@ $170 for the case (jab-tech) thank mean there is $200 worth of WC gear and labor into it...

so for $200 you get....
$75 pump (SVC)
$40 rad
$20 worth of tubing....
$50 TDX
=$185

so only $15 for labor I would say its a go.... i would rather have a laing DCC with petras top, but hey its a stacker

they CPU block is standard grade.. nothing extreme but its good.. and $50 for a GPU+ramsinks.... its $44 from dangerden w/o $15 ramsinks...

it looks like a viable system to me...

again you can build better for slightly cheaper and much cheaper if you get some used stuff.

but it looks good IMO

oh and you case you have now doesnt matter what holes are in it... cut the ones you need out.... gosh go and mod something

this WC kit will out perform the koolance kit

I don't like that elbow bend nor the zip ties they used to secure the tubes. The people at SVC offer great products and know a lot about marketing and sales, but really... they don't know much about overclocking.

Agreed. They are a good buisness with great customer service and excellent products but they don't really take the plunge into the overclocking pool as far as knowledge goes which is fine with me really because everything I order from them comes next day :D <3 Bay Area.

I guess most of you are not too impressed with SVC's design. I didn't think it was that great either but that price is pretty good. Frozencpu has pretty good stuff but they're too expensive. Is there any other site that sells cases with preinstalled W/C gear?

It's not a bad setup. The only real problems I see is the rad setup. If you are exhausting the air out of the bottom of the case then you are really only pulling hot air through the rad and fighting case temps becomes an issues.

If you are sucking air from the bottom, well expect to clean the dust out of your case once a week.

The elbow is nothing big since the only reason they use it is to make it look cleaner by pushing the return line to the back of the case. You could always just turn the line up and remove the elbow completely.

Remember, though, that the air isn't all that warm in the case if you don't have the CPU/GPU/NB heating it up! I'm doing this in my current case, and it works quite well.

I definitely agree that you don't want to turn your pc into a vacuum cleaner!

Regarding the design: it seems okay, but I'm not a huge fan of their design. It makes wiring the bottom of the mobo more difficult and blocks the lower 2-3 drive bays. Many people put their rad in the front of the stacker, which is out of the question with their pump placement.

Frankly, I think the stacker is overpriced for what it is.
