I don't know where to start.

Installed a network dvr with cameras in my parents place of business.Which works fine.

They want to be able to view when they are at home.

I need to forward a port on the router and not exactly sure how to do that the manual is kinda vague verizion fios is the net service the router is verizion mi424.

Do i need to set something up on the pc too or just the router?

thanks nate

The book says port 80 don't know if that can be changed or not?

Forward a external port like some random port (pick one ) then forward it to the internal one "80"

Example port 1977 is a rep port for a friend rdp server but rdp uses 3389 :)
